a little parable about being at Berkeley

and getting into a conversation with an

English professor. He figured out finally

that the guy didn't really know what he

was studying under the heading of rhetoric.

So the English professor said, "What's rhetoric?"

and Willey responded to him with this:

"Rhetoric is lies and bullshit. Every department

in this university is devoted to the search for truth,

except us. We search out lies and bullshit.

Now I put it to you, which are there more of?"
